The Indians must be thinking what they are doing wrong. They always bow out a tournament after depending on Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka seems to fail them (which is a good thing). This time it happened in the Asia Cup last night  and for once most Sri Lankans are happy that we loss to Bangladesh , we might have gone down and bowed out of the tournament without a single win; yet, we took down India with us.

So after the fireworks by Virat Kohli and co. against the Pakistanis last night, Sri Lanka will face Bangladesh tomorrow to get a consolation win and complete the Asia Cup on a high. Bangladesh needs to beat us tomorrow in order to send India home and go to the finals.Deep down, I really hope that happens, I really love to see India go home rather than Sri Lanka winning a useless match, which won't take us to the final anyway. Yet, I am pretty sure Sri Lanka will win this one.

I know he plays for our noisy, hated neighbors. I know he is a badass and looks ugly when he shouts for nothing at most times.Yet, the guy is a damn good batsman and he showed his class again today by kicking the asses of their most hated rivals Pakistan in an epic innings of 183 at the Asia Cup.

The days our Cricketers were not Cocksuckers..

Today is a very special day for all Sri Lankan cricket fans. It marks 16 years since our Sri Lankan Lions won the cricket world cup in 1996 beating the Aussies at the Gaddaffi stadium in Lahore. Nobody except us believed our team can go all the way and our team responded the same by playing some magnificent cricket. We beat all odds and won the only cricket world cup we have won so far.It was truly an amazing win.

Tendulkar's Orgasm Blown Away to Bits.. What a Crappy 100th 100

So finally, after waiting for about 33 ODI games, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar entered the cricket record books as the only man to get hundred international hundreds. He scored his 49th one day century today to cap off his 51 test centuries. A truly remarkable effort by  true a legend of the game. Yet, his orgasm of celebration was blown away, when his crappy Indian team lost the match to Bangladesh, showing the world that even when he scores his 100th hundred , his team can't win a match for him.

Chamara Kapugedera was once considered as one of the brightest young cricketing stars of Sri Lanka. He was added to the Sri Lankan team at a very young age and really performed well in his first few matches including a memorable test 50 against the Englishmen at Trent Bridge in 2006; which we later went on to win. He followed that success by playing some crucial 50's during the 2007-08 CB series and suddenly all Sri Lankan fans thought that we have found some great young talent.

So after a tiresome and successful tour Down Under, The Sri Lankan Lions are now in Bangladesh contesting in the Asia Cup. The first match was held last Sunday where Pakistan pulled out a hard fought victory against the hosts. Today Sri Lanka will play their first game against their most favorite foe in world cricket, India.
